About Me

I am a PhD candidate in Sociology at Boston University. My research spans economic sociology, organizations, culture, strategy, and social psychology.

Dissertation Research

My research examines how identity shapes market competition. Using the Turkish film and television industry as an empirical setting, I investigate how identity influences market coordination, strategic behavior, and competitive outcomes under conditions of heightened visibility and audience scrutiny.
